The times that are below are an average with over 40-years of experience behind them. Be advised that times can and do change on any given year due to weather, forage, and other environmental factors. They are however, pretty accurate when averaged out.
School Tuna, Bontio and False Albacore are totally dependent on the weather and the bait patterns for any given year or season. Its best to call ahead of time to check on these species and their availability.
STRIPED BASS: MAY AND JUNE AS WELL AS THE FIRST WEEK IN JULY. THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST TIME FOR THE MOST IN NUMBERS AS WELL AS SIZES.
BLUEFISH: JUNE FOR HARBOR SIZE BLUES FROM 2 TO 5 POUNDS. AUGUST THRU OCTOBER FOR LARGER FISH AS WELL AS SCHOOLING FISH.
BLACK SEA BASS/ SCUP: JULY-AUGUST-SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER. SEASONS TEND TO CHANGE WITH EACH YEARS NEW REGULATIONS. CALL TO CHECK ON OPEN SEASONS. THIS FISHERY HAS BEEN EXCELLENT THE PAST 3-YEARS.
TAUTOG: OCTOBER 15TH ?? THRU NOVEMBER 30TH. TAUTOG SEASON DOES CHANGE YEARLY. CALL FOR OPEN SEASONS. OUR TAUTOG FISHING IS ALSO SUPER AMAZING THE LAST 3-YEARS.
BONITO AND FALSE ALBACORE: LATE AUGUST- SEPTEMBER- OCTOBER
SHARKS: JULY AND AUGUST
